Capt. Carl Bish of Salmo Charters has been fishing Lake Ontario since age 12 in 1980. He began his first charter business in 1987 and has had an unquenchable desire to put fish in the boat ever since. Capt. Carl is a full time Biology teacher, but still manages to put in close to 100 days on the water each season. In his quest to find a better catching lure, Capt. Carl discovered moonshine lures on his own in 2004 and immediately began catching fish with them, needless to say it did not take much convincing to get him to join our pro-staff. Capt. Captain Jim, and his dad Capt. Marv, own and operate J J Mac Charters and fish Lake Michigan with boats in Ludington, Michigan and Cedar River, Michigan. Capt. Jim's 28-foot Pursuit, FIN-ADDICT, is docked at the Cedar River State Harbor in the Michigan Upper Peninsula. The Cedar River area of Green Bay is a phenomenal hotspot for reel-screaming salmon and schools of huge walleye and Moonshine Lures have been catching lots of fish. Capt. Captain Bill Myers of Delta Dawn Charters.
I fish Big and Little Bays De Noc and Lake Michigan from ice out to mid November for Salmon, Trout, and Walleye.
I charter out of three ports in the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Manistique, Gladstone, and Escanaba. I was introduced to his line of lures a few years ago. I have had great success with Moonshine Lures finding they work great for not just salmon, trout but also Walleye, yes Walleye!
